STATIONERY
PRINTED PENS
Depending on the number of colors you would like to achieve, pens can either be pad printed or inkjet printed. In this case, these custom printed pens were inkjet printed using the X5. Inkjet printers are able to print many pens at a time, in full-color. Additionally, you are able to change artworks of a full bed so you can customize which piece gets which artwork.
NOTEBOOKS
Like pens, notebooks can also either be inkjet printed or pad printed. The benefit of inkjet printing on notebooks in this case is that the notebook is flat, so you are able to print edge to edge. Full color was used for this application, however, varnish and white were not added. By choosing to print without varnish, you will get a matte finish, rather than a glossy one. Additionally, the exclusion of white was due to the fact that our machine was printing on white.
RULERS
Rulers are another item that can be printing both ways. For standard rulers with measurements and a simple logo, we suggest using the 2200-LI as it can print up to about 22” (558.8mm). For a full-color look, you can also utilize the X5® for beautiful graphics. Typically, an inkjet printer for rulers is used post-creation of the ruler itself. Meaning, you are printing over the measurements to hand out as a giveaway. Pad printing is more for labeling the ruler for functionality.
CANVAS
Print high-quality photography directly onto canvases. Our X5® industrial inkjet printer is also a great option for printing custom canvases. This versatile canvas printing machine not only prints any promotional item, it can also print objects to decorate homes or to give as thoughtful gifts.
